Welfare Officer

Nicola Hayes

I first became involved with LK Tennis Academy when my children wanted to play tennis eight years ago. I work in a local primary school as a teaching assistant and PE teacher, within my role I deal with safeguarding and have completed all the necessary training to fulfil the role.

Club Chairman / Head Coach

Lisa Kennedy

I am proud to be able to part of such a fantastic sport, and consider myself so lucky to be working

teaching and encouraging people to be able to play and enjoy the sport too. I am a fully Accredited

Plus level 3 LTA Club Coach. I have been coaching for 25 years. I spent 11 years coaching at

Batchwood High Performance Centre in St Albans. In addition I was Head Coach at Towcester

Tennis Club for 8 years and Head Coach at Wisbech Tennis Club for 8 years. I currently run a

coaching Programme at Chatteris Tennis Club. It is important to me that tennis continues to

progress. I am able to assist this in a small way by helping small Clubs develop their players,

coaching programme and facilities.

I formed LK Tennis Academy Club in September 2013, we have a comprehensive coaching

programme, running alongside that we offer vibrant Social and Competitive opportunities. We are

keen to encourage all members of the Community to become involved with the sport. I have

experience coaching all ages and abilities; the complete beginner to players competing at National

Level. My main aim is to encourage people to play or participate in the sport of Tennis and help

them develop their potential.

Treasurer / Coach

Steve Bone

I am a LTA Accredited Level 4 coach, and Treasurer at the LK academy.

I also coach at the Batchwood Tennis Centre, and as Head Coach at Kimpton T.C. both in Hertfordshire. Most Sundays I coach Team Players at Hook Norton T.C. in Oxfordshire.

I have 30 years experience working with all ages, and standards, from absolute beginners to nationally ranked players.

For me teaching tennis is a passion. Anyone coming my way I like to enthuse and encourage to enjoy the many benefits of the sport: fitness, social interaction, satisfaction of reaching potential as a player, and especially savour those inspirational moments all can have at times on a court.
